First things first, if you wonder why I like like a complete idiot it’s because I entered a dare not to cut my hair for a year.

Now when that’s out of they way… Most of the family went to Terracina, Italy to celebrate my moms birthday. So besides me, there were my brothers, my mom of course, my older brothers wife Malin and their two year old daughter Lily.

We stayed at Hotel Poseidon that was a street or two up from the beach, they had their on pool and all in all was a nice place to stay at.

Terracina is a coastal city a few miles from Rome. It has a beautiful coastline and a quaint feel to it. Going there in September, the weather was magnificent, not too warm, you could even go swimming in the ocean.

During our visit we managed to put in a day visiting both Rome and the Vatican City, both great and deserving a visit on its own, not just like a side trip.

The peak however was the birthday dinner for my mom, we had booked a table at this great restaurant where we were served some of the best food and drink I’ve tasted, the staff even sang for my mom and as far as I know, she is still there flirting with them.
